Otherwise, if you drive in weather conditions that fog the windshield heavily, you might have to drive blind. And driving blind, it is possible that your car can get damaged.

As to the transmission and steering fluids, you might not need them often but it is good to know that they are there ready for use when needed. A gas treatment product can also add value if used once in a while.

Car care products for the exterior mainly help you keep the car looking good. However, they can also help you prolong the life of the car. For example, your car body can suffer damage from salt spray if you drive through snow and ice. Salt tends to stick the exteriors and the underside of the car, and can eat through paint and metal. In addition to cleaning the car more often in the winter, you can use car care products that keep salt off of your car. Undercoating for the underside of the car is also a good idea.

Other car care products can help you keep various parts of your car great-looking and also in good condition. These include tires and wheels, the dashboard, the car windows and the fabrics used in the seating. Have products to clean these and vacuum the seats once in a while.

Finally there is the floor mats used in the car. The floor can get worn out from the frequent getting in and out of people and the mat can prevent this to a great extent. The mat can thus be seen as a car care product.
