Editorial Guidelines

These guidelines are a reflection of SiteListCentral.com’s efforts to build and maintain a comprehensive and quality directory of useful and trusted internet resources.

SiteListCentral.com  reserves the right, but not the obligation, to review  submissions suggested. The submissions will be subject to SiteListCentral.com  editorial review, modification and/or removal in SiteListCentral sole discretion.

Minimum requirements for Inclusion:

• Family friendly contents
• The sites must not be redirect/mirror/doorway sites
• Contents are well-written, informative, and with an interesting voice
• Decent amount of quality contents ; at least 20-30 good pages
• Sites must be in English or contain an English language version.
• Sites must have contact details
• Sites must have user friendly navigation
• Sites must not have any under construction pages,broken links and incomplete pages
• Sites must not have readability problem. Note that the following issues make a web page hard to read online, they are mostly hard to miss:
  • Big Text blocks (too little whitespace, no effective use of headlines)
  • Over-use of links
  • Over-use of variety of colors
  • Over-use of animations?
  • BOLD ALL CAPS?
  • Many typos

• Payday loan sites.
• Multi Level Marketing (MLM) sites.
• "Get Rich Quick" sites.
• High Yield Investment Program sites.
• File sharing or peer-to-peer networking sites.
• DUI attorneys, personal injury attorneys, liability lawyers.
• Consumer focused nutritional supplements/vitamins/diet sites.
• Link-only sites or third party CPC ad resellers.
• Retail coupon sites.
• Plastic surgery sites.
• Pornography/adult content sites.
